BrandNoir builds marketplace-native consumer brands from Luxembourg, not as a seller, not as an agency, but as a structured brand portfolio. We develop brands from scratch, scale them across Amazon and key marketplaces, and exit the winners.
Most sellers build one product. We build brands, run them through a shared operating framework, and treat each one as an asset with an exit path.
Find high-margin categories with room for a strong brand to take hold.
Develop the brand from zero: product, design, listings, trademark.
Grow across Amazon and key marketplaces: Otto, Kaufland, Bol.com, Cdiscount.
Sell the winners to strategic buyers. Keep the best for long-term cashflow.
The strength of the model is timing. While one brand scales, the next is already in build, and cashflow from the brands already running funds the brand after it.
Each brand moves through build, scale and exit or keep. Because the brands are staggered, the running brands help finance the next.
At any moment several brands are live at different stages, the portfolio works as a whole, not one project at a time.
Revenue from running brands is pooled to fund the next. The longer the portfolio runs, the more it finances its own growth.
Each brand sits in its own Luxembourg SARL, risk stays ring-fenced, and every brand can be financed, scaled and exited individually. Seed capital launches the first; fresh capital is then raised deliberately for the bigger moves, new brand launches and expansion into new markets such as the US.
A brand is several products, not one. Each starts returning revenue within months, so the pool fills continuously, and an exit is the bonus, not the only source.
BrandNoir does not start from zero. Its founder runs two operating companies today, proof of hands-on experience in sourcing, marketplace operations and EU logistics, with one providing short-term operational support at launch.
A B2B specialist in promotional products and event supplies for 22 years. Runs Pan-European Amazon FBA across five marketplaces (DE, FR, IT, ES, UK) — with deep hands-on experience in sourcing, inventory management and cross-border EU logistics. Provides short-term operational support while BrandNoir builds its own team.
A B2B e-commerce platform for promotional products, give-aways and custom corporate gifts — an online catalogue of 100,000+ products backed by 20 years of sourcing expertise and personal consulting. Active across Luxembourg and the Greater Region. A proven local commercial base.
BrandNoir is being built as a Luxembourg entity, with linie zwo as a short-term operational partner while the Luxembourg structure and team are established. The first marketplace brands are being defined now, each developed, scaled and exited through the same operating framework.
Billions raised. Billions lost.
Raised billions to buy up existing brands at peak prices, piled on debt, and collapsed when interest rates rose.
Capital stays inside the asset, not paid to previous owners.
Organic growth with full quality control, not acquisition stress.
Investor-funded, not loaded with debt. No interest burden that breaks the model in a downturn.
European design, real certifications, no harmful substances, a consistent design language. A genuine product, not cheap goods with a logo.
An existing Amazon FBA operation lowers the working capital needed at launch, a head start no first-time builder has.
Luxembourg gives BrandNoir EU access, financial infrastructure and a central European location, and it is a place people genuinely want to build a life and a company from.
Amazon has run its European headquarters from Luxembourg since 2003, today employing around 4,000 people directly, from over 100 nationalities, with a total employment impact exceeding 10,000 jobs. In 2025 alone it invested more than €1.9 billion in Luxembourg and contributed over €750 million to the country's GDP. The infrastructure that attracts the world's largest e-commerce company is the same infrastructure BrandNoir is built on.

"Each time, we rebuilt. We are still here."
I come from a family of businesspeople.
My mother and my grandmother, both French, were artists, painters, women of great joie de vivre, with an unerring sense of beauty and pleasure. My father, German and a man of order, ran a large Edeka supermarket. Art and joie de vivre on one side, order and structure on the other. I am made of both, and I carry it forward.
Working as an employee was never on the table. My path was the practical one: a Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce (CCI), and before I was 20, one of the youngest certified trainers in Trier. I wanted to build things of my own, and I usually did them differently from everyone else. "Don't do that," I was told, often. I did it anyway. Early on I travelled the world and gained insight into the most varied markets and ways of life, and took something from each of them.
For 22 years I have built businesses on my own account. Long enough to live through three crises that struck everything I had built.
In 2008, the financial crisis pulled the ground from under my promotional products business, down to zero. In 2020, the pandemic brought every event in the world to a standstill, and with it our Amazon business in wristbands and lanyards, to zero again. In 2022, the war in Ukraine broke the supply chains: normal stock volumes were no longer possible, we had to order a full year in advance simply to have goods at all, and the costs rose and rose.
Each time, we had to improvise. Each time, we rebuilt. We are still here.
Out of that grew a conviction, and it is the reason for BrandNoir. One product, one category, one channel is not a business. It is a single point of failure. The next shock always comes. The only protection lies in the structure beneath it: a portfolio of brands, built on purpose, so that no single event can ever take everything again.
BrandNoir is both at once, the art of my family and the order of my father. This time designed from the start to withstand what I now know will return.
I carry the artistic in me too, unlike them, ordered and structured, but at its core the same: the will to create something. After three crises, I know exactly what. The rest is history, the history we are writing now.
BrandNoir is currently raising its seed round and looking for two co-founders with real operator experience, people who want to build something serious.
An operator who lives in the detail of marketplace growth, listings, margins, sourcing and FBA execution across key marketplaces.
A growth operator who turns spend into scale, PPC, SEO, conversion and the systematic launch of new brands.
Equity. Not a salary. If you want to build, and own, something serious, let's talk.
